Prior to joining the Clubbers Ryan Williams played for the Dawes Park Stars where he was one half of the Dynamic Duo pitching staff with fellow 2004 Clubber player Christian Hickman. The Stars won the Championship of the 12 year old AFC League in the summer of 2003. Ryan is an all around player who contributes anywhere he is on the field.
2004 season highlights include being named a Travel Ball Select Honorable Mention Player.
In September, 2003 Ryan became one more lefty Ace for the Clubbers deep starting pitching rotation and was immediately recognized as an outstanding pitcher and franchise player. Ryan is a Leader and will be the "One" behind the plate with teammates Frank Gowder, Christian Hickman and Dominique Bell. Ryan is another key ingredient to the future of the team. At 6'-0" Williams demonstrated his outstanding control and power in the Fall SPBL Playoff game vs the Schaumburg Seminoles. Russ Gangler, Coach of the Seminoles was quick to compliment Williams after the game for his nearly spotless 4 inning pitching performance against the powerful lineup of the Seminole team.
Ryan graduated from Emmanuel Christian in 2004 where he was a popular student. Williams also is a member of the basketball team where he plays Point Guard, Power Forward and Center.
Beginning in the Fall of 2004, Ryan is attending Simeon High School where he will be member of the Varsity Baseball Team.
